Gingerbread Village Sponsorship

Host a festive, community-centered gingerbread house competition between schools, under the theme “It Takes a Village to Support a Child.” Each team's creation will be displayed publicly, and the community will vote with donations. Proceeds will go towards:

• Supporting Chatham Goodfellows
• Sharing a percentage back to the participating schools as a way of rewarding their involvement and supporting school initiatives.

Encourages designs that represent community, cooperation, inclusivity, and care for children—from cozy cottages to whimsical town squares, to houses with mini schools, gardens, parks, etc. 

Voting by donation ($1 = 1 Vote)

• Each village will have a physical ballot box at the event.
• Community members “vote” by donating money to the house they like the best.
• The village/classroom that raises the most donations receives a percentage back.

 Fundraising Breakdown 

• The Chatham Goodfellows will receive 50%.
• 1st prize will receive 25% back to their school.
• 2nd Prize will receive 15% back to their school.
• 3rd Prize will recieve 10% back to their school.
• Participating villages will be judged on creativity and the best theme. A panel of judges will be appointed.

• The entry cost for our holiday field trips $5 per student
• Transportation/bus costs.
• Gingerbread cookie decorating costs $1 per student
• Craft supplies for gingerbread-themed fun!
